Do Rebellion Paintworks still paint Motorcycles?
After 20 years in the Motorcycle Custom Paintwork and Airbrushing World, I’m not just going to stop. Rebellion Paintworks will still complete some Motorcycle Custom Paintwork. HOWEVER jobs that are commissioned will be much more considered and selective going forward.
In all honesty I simply dont have time to spend weeks on panel beating and body work anymore….If you provide bike parts that are in new or very good condition (so require very minimal initial bodywork), OR you if you have a bike that has initially been body-worked and base-coated/lacquered elsewhere-that you would like me to complete airbrush artwork or creative/custom design work on, then your commission will have much more chance of being taken on.
I hope my clients understand that this is not me trying to be fussy or arrogant… I am only one man with two hands and there are only so many hours in a week - I need to be a bit more selective of motorcycle work nowadays so that I can manage to keep all my customers happy by providing them all with my best work in a reasonably timely manner.
Custom Motorcycle Paintwork is not cheap- especially when it’s high-end and done properly! It requires many expensive materials and LOTS of labour hours and spray booth time! We can provide you with the highest quality show-winning and magazine feature worthy paintwork- so long as you can appreciate that this wont happen quickly or cheaply. Any motorcycle paintwork commissions will be discussed in depth before being undertaken. Budgets and timescales will be discussed and deposits and staged-payments will be agreed upon before any paintwork is undertaken.
Mural Paintwork dominates my workspace nowadays and after painting so many bikes over the years quite honestly it’s a welcome and refreshing change. This does however mean the few bike commissions i undertake nowadays are given all my attention and creativity when I’m back in my Paintshop rather than working mobile with my Mural Work.
